Lot Of TWO Neve 8816 Test Cables For Power Supply Measurement & Service. We used to use these for servicing the 8816, but we no longer repair that model.

Test cable #1 is used to power up a Neve 8816 from a bench power supply. It has a male DIN plug on the Neve end and two single banana plugs on the other end. The banana ends are covered with Flexo sleeving to prevent them from tangling.

Test cable #2 is used for measuring current while powering the 8816 from its own power adapter. A series resistor in line with the positive side of the cable provides a sample output that can be connected to any DC voltmeter. Under normal conditions where the 8816 is drawing 1.1 amps, the sample voltage will be approx. 275 mv DC. The test cable will operate with the 8816 whether or not the sample outputs are connected to a meter. The sample outputs are on single banana plugs, covered with Flexo sleeving.

Both test cables are constructed neatly and professionally for years of use.
